We make our special chocolate over several days, the old fashioned way: Slow Stone Grinding at Low Temperature.

Our cacao beans are never roasted and all manufacturing processes are kept below 114 degrees F to ensure maximum antioxidant retention and zero trans-fatty acid production. Our ginger chocolate (57% cacao content) was lab tested and found to have an antioxidant rating (ORAC score) of 3-4 times that of a normal dark chocolate bar of 60% cacao content. Our ingredients are always raw where possible and always organic or wild-crafted. Sacred Chocolate is Certified Organic, Vegan, Kosher, and Halal. Our Criollo variety Cacao Beans are from Ecuador and are sold above fair trade standards!

All Sacred Chocolate Heart Shaped Bars include the SKIN of the Cacao Bean for flavor and nutritional purposes. The SKIN adds a fruity complexity to the chocolate and has super nutrition, analagous to the skin of a cucumber or orange.

We never use weak cacao “filler” beans to boost cacao percentage, or use cane sugar.

Can I Ship To Multiple Recipients?Yes, you can ship one product to as many recipients as you wish. During checkout, you will be asked to enter a shipping address. If you enter more than one shipping address, you will then be prompted to match the products in your cart with each shipping address. There is no limitation on how many shipments you may have in one order. For example, if you wish to send three different products to three different people, you may do so.

Is My Credit Card Secure?Our shopping cart pages are secured by Thawte - a leading global Certification Authority that uses stringent authentication and verification processes to ensure your credit card information is safe. This means that it is protected and not readable until it is received by the payment gateway. What if the Recipient is Not Home?All shipments are made with UPS. Chocolate.com does not require a signature for all shipments. In cases where a signature is not required, the UPS delivery person will usually leave the package in a safe place. In some cases, the UPS delivery person may choose to NOT leave the package at the door if he/she believes it is unsafe. In such cases, an attempt to deliver is made the following day.

How Are Products Packaged?Each vendor has their own method of packaging products. Many vendors will use cooling packs to ensure that your chocolate product does not melt. In general, Chocolate.com relies on the experience of the vendors to properly package each product. Some products require extra packaging, some do not.

Do you ship OUTSIDE the U.S?We ship to the following countries: Canada, United Kingdom, United States, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Netherlands, and Spain. What days of the week do you deliver?All shipping is done via UPS. Ups delivers packages Monday through Friday.

Can I schedule delivery for a special date?Yes. If you need delivery on a special occasion, we can help. To submit your desired delivery date, you must add a product to your cart, then enter your email address and billing information. At the "Shipping Method" page you will have the option to select a specific delivery date. Your selected ship and delivery dates will also be reflected in your confirmation email after your order is complete.

How Much Will Shipping Cost?All shipping is done via UPS. Before you checkout, we communicate with UPS to determine the rate. Our products are shipped by a variety of vendors located across the U.S..
